Scope:  Foundation Underpinning with Helical Piles

Dwyer Companies has been hired to stabilize two separate foundations at Marianna Terrace.  The apartment buildings are two stories tall supported on shallow spread footings.

Problem:
Cracking on the exterior and interior of the apartment buildings has been evident for years.  The major cracks tend to extend through the exposed concrete foundation and up through one to two stories of the brick veneer.  The two buildings being repaired are the worst out of the sixteen buildings throughout the complex.

Solution:
Dwyer will repair the foundation and stabilize the structure using state of the art technology.  A Helical Pile system will extend into shale and stabilize the existing structures.  Dwyer will install a total of 77 Piles in two weeks.
